Introduction to Video Editing (Online)

Overview:

This is a hands-on, fast-paced online course where students learn the fundamentals of editing video and audio using Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Students acquire editing skills as they develop their own creative projects. Students must have access to a portable hard drive for storage (Mac compatible), and video footage to work with in class.

Topics:

Topics include video and audio effects, working with text and images in video, and creating video for online content.

Notes:

This course is delivered through a series of tutorials and related assignments which students may complete at their own pace on the Learning Management System, Canvas. The instructor is available throughout the course time period for questions and discussions. Regular access to a computer with a high speed broadband internet connection is required.  For online Adobe classes, students are responsible for purchasing their own software for class. Trial versions of the software are sometimes available on the company website.

Once your registration is processed, you will receive a user account, which will grant you access to Canvas. Your Canvas account will be enabled one week prior to the start date of your course.  At that time you will be able to log in at https://canvas.ocadu.ca.
