Introduction to Adobe Photoshop (Online)

Overview:

This shorter online course is designed specifically to introduce students to the key concepts and basic tools used in Adobe Photoshop. For online Adobe classes, students are responsible for purchasing their own software for class. Trial versions of the software are sometimes available on the company website.

Topics:

Topics include image resolution, using layers, modifying and transforming selections, image editing and adjustments using layers and filters, and output parameters and protocol for web, devices and print.

Notes:

This course is delivered through a series of tutorials and related assignments which students may complete at their own pace on the Learning Management System, Canvas. The instructor is available throughout the course time period for questions and discussions. For online Adobe classes, students are responsible for purchasing their own software for class. Trial versions of the software are sometimes available on the company website.

Once your registration is processed, you will receive a user account, which will grant you access to Canvas. Your Canvas account will be enabled one week prior to the start date of your course.  At that time you will be able to log in at https://canvas.ocadu.ca.
