Lean Training - Black Belt

Overview:

The distance learning Lean Black Belt program is aimed at professionals who have overall responsibility for quality or continuous improvement within their organization as well as those who play a key role in implementing Lean deployment.

Participants gain the appropriate process improvement, leadership and project management skills to drive the changes that are necessary for a sustainable Lean transformation. Black Belts are responsible for managing and tracking multiple Lean projects; providing internal coaching and mentoring and coordinating Lean strategy with senior management.

The Management Development Centre in association with Leading Edge Group, certifies online and classroom based Lean programs at White, Yellow, Green, and Black Belt levels. The programs are available within the following disciplines:

  • Financial Services
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Manufacturing

  • Lean Manufacturing Black Belt

    The Lean SCM Black Belt program aims to provide participants with a practical application of advanced Lean tools and techniques, as well as developing the appropriate process improvement, leadership and program management skills to drive the changes that are necessary for a successful and sustainable Lean transformation.

    The program is aimed at career-minded practitioners who work in either supply chain, manufacturing or related functions such as quality, engineering, finance and who have some responsibility for driving continuous improvement initiatives within their organization. It is also suitable for those who have some experience in Lean and wish to further develop their knowledge and skills in these areas.

  • Lean Supply Chain Management Black Belt

    The Lean SCM Black Belt program aims to provide participants with a practical application of advanced Lean tools and techniques, as well as developing the appropriate process improvement, leadership and program management skills to drive the changes that are necessary for a successful and sustainable Lean transformation.

    The program is aimed at career-minded practitioners who work in either supply chain, manufacturing or related functions such as quality, engineering, finance and who have some responsibility for driving continuous improvement initiatives within their organization. It is also suitable for those who have some experience in Lean and wish to further develop their knowledge and skills in these areas.


• Advanced Lean Tools and Practices

• Managing Lean Projects

• Lean Strategic Planning and Implementation

• Effective Leadership and Change Management

• Participation in the online tutorials/discussions and events

• Submission of module assignments

• Completion of an in-house project

• Lean Green Belt completion or relevant professional qualifications

• 2-3 years relevant experience

• Two references from signatories in your organization

6 months to complete - via Online training
$4,900.00 + HST
