Master's Certificate in Municipal Management - Graduation 2011
On May 26, 2011 the MDC proudly awarded 33 graduates with the Master's Certificate in Municipal Management. This is an innovative 16-week program designed for managers and professionals working in a municipal organization. Participants emerge from the program with greatly enhanced management skills, a stronger knowledge and understanding of specific areas of public sector reforms and are prepared to meet the challenges posed by new trends affecting municipal government.
Included in this year's ceremony were participants from the Region of Durham, City of Oshawa, Town of Whitby, Town of Ajax and the Municipality of Clarington.
Professional Management Certificate Program

In November 2011, eighteen professionals completed the five courses included in the Professional Management Certificate Program and received their final certificate. A final day celebration included a luncheon with certificates being awarded by Stephen Rose, Associate Dean and Director of the MDC.

Thank you to all participants from CRDC Disaster Services, Lakeridge Community Services, Hearth Place, City of Oshawa, Durham Respite Services, Community Living Ajax/Pickering, Port Hope Police Services, OLG Slots at Ajax Downs, Community Living - Durham North, Deeley Harley-Davidson, the Clarington Library, OWASCO and Bardon Supplies who participated during the fall of 2011.
