Developing Successful Leaders!

The Management Development Centre at UOIT recognizes that in this rapidly changing technological age, learning is an on-going process for executives, managers and professionals who must keep abreast of the changing business and technological environments in order to remain competitive. Besides being knowledgeable in their own professions, leaders must possess a sound knowledge of business concepts and technology in order to make right decisions on a timely basis.

Programs are designed to assist managers, supervisors and professionals to succeed in the ever-changing global environment. The objectives of the management development centre are as follows:

• to disseminate the most up-to-date concepts of business and information technology to participants;
• to equip participants with tools to further develop their skills in management, communication, leadership, negotiations, finance, marketing, and information technology;
• to provide a stimulating and interactive environment whereby participants will be able to share their business experiences and management practices, and learn how to improve their management and decision-making skills and information technology; and
• to provide participants with an opportunity for networking and establishing business relationships with other business leaders.

Mission

It is the mission of MDC to equip participants with the tools required to develop skills in communication, leadership, accounting, finance, marketing, information technology and human resource management.

Programs are developed by professionals who have the expertise and experience to provide up-to-date, hands-on and relevant information.
